The name of the group shall distinctively be BIH NSO FINLAND. The group is based in Helinki Finland. However, we accommodate members from nearby cities especially students who upon completion of studies, usually relocate to Helsinki
Short history bih nso
Nso like many outstanding tribes in Africa has never been reported absent from any metropolitan city in the world. The case in Finland within the past five years showed the presence of Nso elite sporadically in major cities. The dream for the creation of a group remained unrealistic until the recent past. Recently, we took the advantage of the new arrivals of Nso Elites and the relocation of a few from other Finnish cities to Helsinki for the creation of a group. The last academic year served as an added advantage as we witnessed an influx of students and a pleasant discovery of members who previously were at our vicinity. We had our first informal meeting on the 27th August 2017. Since then, we have been meeting regularly to consolidate the group.
objectives Bih nso
The main objective is to bring brothers and sisters together under the canopy of the Nso tribe in the North West region of Cameroon. To relieve our tradition, preserve our prestigious Culture and language and as a result expose this culture in Finland and across the entire Europe
memberhip Bih nso
Membership of Bih Nso is primarily open to Nso elites and their family members residing in Finland. By extension any friend found to be of impeccable character can become a member. One is considered a member of this group in any given year if he/ she is dully registered and has attended at least one group meeting in the preceding or current term. This group will not discriminate based on any characteristic or nationality. This is evident in the wonderful fellowship we are having every month with the spouses of other nationalities
kids activities Bih nso
The kids’ activities have so far been limited to fellowships during monthly meetings. There exist the kid’s corner every meeting day where they play, watch cartoon and eat together. When the registration process is completed, possible outdoor activities will be organized. We intend to endow the kids with the rich cultural heritage from Nso. Future Plans This group is promising and would in future be one of the pillars of NFU
